Frequently asked questions

What do you need for a quotation?

The heat to be rejected (kW) or the engine model, the coolant (water or glycol percentage), its flow rate and inlet/outlet temperatures, the design ambient temperature and altitude, the sound limit and distance, and any length or footprint limit. An engine manufacturer's datasheet covers most of it.

How long does a proposal take?

A technical datasheet with a dimensional drawing and price is usually ready within a few working days of receiving complete data.

Can you match an existing engine or an OEM specification?

Yes. LT/HT circuits, connections, flow rates and allowable pressure drops are designed to the engine manufacturer's requirements, and we work to customer specifications for materials, coatings, fans and electrical equipment.

Which materials and coatings are available?

Copper tube with aluminium fins is standard. AlMg2.5 fins, epoxy-coated fins, galvanised or painted casings and stainless-steel expansion tanks are available for coastal, desert, dusty and offshore sites.

Do you supply the auxiliaries as well?

Expansion tanks, coolant level switches, control panels or junction boxes, oil and fuel coolers, plate heat exchangers, pump skids and heating modules can be supplied with the unit as one coordinated package.
